Hi. I have seen some posts on here about this issue.
IE8 under thinapp works well except for when you click on a link which would bring up a new window on a physically installed version, but in the case of a ThinApp version shows an error in the status bar of IE and no window opens. The work around I have used is to change the tab settings so that IE opens a new tab rather than a new window. This resolves the issue but i wondered if there was any solution to the open new window issue?
I am about to deploy this to a group of developers and would like to be able to have the work like it does "out of the box". If there is not solution i can at least confirm this is a limitation of running IE under a virtual environment.
