Hi,
I have an Outlook 2003 (sp3) created Thinapp layer, which has been setup with the std Attributes and isolations. It's my experience and understanding that such a setup ensures that upon user execution the Outlook instance will read outside of the layer for email configuration settings (As they are not defined in the layer).
However this layer in a Citrix environment (Based in a Windows 2003 AD domain) does not perform in such a way nor does it per user directly on the server. The issue we find is that upon execution of the Outlook.exe entry point for this layer, the user is presented with the create a profile wizard. Outside of the layer the user has been using Outlook for months, so has history and customisations we need running within the layer.
The only thing I can think of is that users are given a group Policy to redirect the AppData to a network location per user, I'm coming up empty on this and wanted to gauge if this has been seen before. I've previously run the same setup in other environments and have never seen this issue.
Anyone have any ideas?
