I'm attempting to package ArcGIS 9 (ArcMap v9.3.1). I am using ThinApp v4.6.1 and packaging on a clean Windows 7 VM. The native install of the application behaves itself, but the Thinapp version error's out. The error occurs when trying to exit the app with a message "arcGIS has encountered a serious error and is unable to continue". What I have noticed is that the process Arcmap.exe is not able to terminate and release (task manager). In fact, there are two of them running and do not terminate. I do know that the "multiple processes" issue has been around for a while but Thinapp v4.6 / 4.6.1 had that bug fixed? Perhaps one of you could walk me thru how to begin troubleshooting this issue (or let me in on a silver-bullet remedy)?
