IE8 Crashing When IE10 or IE11 Installed

We use a Thinapp version of IE 8 in our organization and it works great on our Windows 7 Enterprise systems with IE 9 natively installed, however if IE 9 is upgraded to IE 10 or 11, the IE 8 Thinapp will no longer work.  We also use the thindirect feature.  What happens is the thindirect screen will appear, the VMware logo will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen as if it is starting IE 8, and then it will disappear and nothing will happen.  ANY HELP APPRECIATED .
