I Thinstalled QuickBooks Pro 2008 and have been having attempting to troubleshoot the application by identifying if/where I'm having ACL issues. I decided to use the procmon.exe application to trace the files and registry reads/writes that the Thinstalled application was attempting. To do so, I thinstalled cmd.exe, started cmd.exe, and started procmon.exe from inside the Thinstall VOS. Immediately when I start the QuickBooks thinstalled application, procmon.exe fails with an error message "Out of memory: Unable to allocate a memory block of size 970846377".
Has anyone successfully used procmon.exe (I'm using version 1.33) to troubleshoot Thinstalled applications? I'm doing this within a Terminal Services (Windows Server 2003 SP 2) environment.
Thanks,
John
