I've got problems with IE 8 as thinapp runing on windows 7 (32bit) with installed IE 11.
The capture was made on a windows 7 (32bit) with clean vm.
1. Installed IE 11
2. prescan
3. uninstall IE 11 over "Installed Updates" and windows 7 does reinstall of IE 8 after reboot.
4. postscan
5. customize package.ini and build the project
7. got 97MB Package with IE 8.
Problem:
IE8 thinapp starts und working great unless you open a .html or .url file, which will be opened in nativly installed IE11.
In that case, the IE 11 starts and open the html-file, but the IE 8 thinapp crashes with message "APPCRASH".
I tested the IgnoreDDEMessages Parameter, but this would not change any behavior. Internet Shortcuts on desktop would still opened in the thinapp IE8. This param seems to be not working in my case.
If i open both IE versions manual, they run with no problems. The problem causes only when a .html file will open IE 11 automaticaly.
Any ideas?
