I have had some success thinstalling QuickBooks Pro 2008 and QuickBooks Premier 2008 with the version 3.386 of the North Start Beta. The application seems to work for me in most situations, but I'm running into a problem executing the application in Terminal Services on Windows Server 2003.
When I execute the thinstalled QuickBooks 2008, the application begins to load like it normally would, popping up a "Loading QuickBooks..." windows. It looks like things are progressing and then the window goes away without any messages or warnings.
The odd thing is that with a different user account, the application loads just fine, and is usable, on the same server. Neither of the user accounts have administrative priviliges, but both are "Power Users". The application also works for my Administrative logon.
Thinking that the problem had to do with ACLs (somewhere), I made the first user account an Administrator on the server as well. This made no difference, and the application quit in the same manner.
I did trace the application and the qbw32.exe application had a number of errors (amongst others but there were a lot of these):

Additionally, the mscorsvw.exe had the following errors at the end:

Anyone know what to make of this information?
Thanks,
John
