VMware ThinApp 4.0 Doesn't Work With VI Client 2.0.2

I've had no issues packaging and running the VI Client 2.0.2 with previous builds of Thinstall.  However, using the VMware ThinApp 4.0.0-2200 release, a virtual package of the VI Client 2.0.2 doesn't seem to work any longer.

Specifically, after packaging the VI Client, I launch the virtual package and, once the login screen appears, provide the appropriate hostname/IP, username, and password and click the "Login" button.  After pausing for a second (the way the VI Client normally behaves), it returns an "Error Connecting" dialog with the message "CoInitialize has not been called."
