I have a clean Windows 7 64bit system, Thinapp 5.0 installed. I have followed the procedures provided ( VMware KB: Packaging guide for ThinApp 5.x and Microsoft Office 2013 ) for creating an Office 2013 32bit Thinapp but continue to have licensing issues. Office shows as activated on the capture machine so it's hitting the KMS correctly. I have stopped the OSPP service before the capture. I have added the required config lines to the config.XML before the installation of office. I have modified the registry file for HKLM before running the build.
After the build is complete I can open the applications for a couple minutes before they try to finish configuration and fail. Using the debug option to enable CMD and Regedit I have verified that my KMS server is in the registry correctly. When I run OSPP.VBS from the CMD prompt it shows no products that need to be registered. I played around with things for a while trying to use the /ACT switch and other things and once, somehow in the combination of playing with things it started working. I could launch Word, Excel, Outlook etc. After I logged out, logged back in and tried to load the Thinapp again I received the same failed results again and the apps close.
Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong or what could cause this issue?
