I recently packaged an application on Windows XP that is not running on Windows 7, unless the user is an administrator. I cannot replicate this behavior on Windows XP as it runs fine in either context.
On the Windows 7 machine I have disabled UAC and tried many different things by following the recommended troubleshooting steps without any luck. When a non-admin user runs the application, the end result is a MIcrosoft Visual C++ Rumtime Library error stating ' this application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.'
Has anybody run into a similar instance before and could give me some pointers?
