Hello....
I have built a new ThinApp package for Office 2007. Visio Viewer 2007 is not installed. When we assign & register an existing ThinApp package for Visio 2003 Standard strange things happen.
.vsd files opened from within Outlook 2007 email messages (i.e. attachments) will prompt you for an application to open with
If you save the .vsd from Office 2007 to the Windows XP desktop and then open it (by double-clicking) Visio 2003 Standard will open the drawing.
If Visio Viewer 2007 (Office 2007 component) is installed then .vsd files in Outlook will open with Visio Viewer 2007 and not Visio 2004 Std.
When assinged to users, I need Visio Std 2003 to open the drawings when. Otherwise the built Visio Viewer should step in an open the drawing.
Is problem caused by isolated file registration registry keys? Is this even possible with both apps being ThinApp'd?
Thx in advance.
