ThinApp and Photoshop CS5

The latest version of Photoshop (CS5) provides the facility to schedule a couple of sibling programs - Bridge and Mini-Bridge.  Bridge is stand-alone, but Mini-Bridge appears on a panel within Photoshop.

After virtualising CS5 these 'sub-apps' do not work.  However, if Bridge is launched manually, clicking on the Bridge button within Photoshop does then switch the focus to Bridge.  Moreover, Bridge started alone, is able to start Photoshop and pass to it the image you have just double-clicked in Bridge.

Min-Bridge, on the other hand, will display its panel in Photoshop whenever the associated button is clicked, but attempts to browse images (its prime function) bring only a message saying 'Waiting for Bridge CS5...', which never completes.  (Bridge is running, incidentally)

The curious thing is this: the virtual app is created in a Windows 7 (x86) VM, where it runs fine.  It also runs fine in any Windows 7 (x86) VM, even one that has never had CS5 installed; i.e. the Bridge and Min-Bridge functions works as expected.  It is only when the virtual CS5 is run on Windows 7 (64 bit) that the trouble arises.

For what it's worth, Xenocode also has difficulties.  Unlike ThinApp, it can launch Bridge and Mini-Bridge, but then the browsed images in Mini-Bridge are displayed as plain grey squares!

Help!
