ThinApp Novell GroupWise 8.0.2 HP2 as one package and Microsoft Office 2007 as another package.
(putting GroupWise an Office in one package -> same problem)
Modified the package.ini with the following:
RequiredAppLinks=\\fs1\thinapps\office2007standard\*.dat
ProcessExternalNameBehavior=Original (This helps, because GroupWise seems to monitor winword.exe)
Problem:
If we double click a word document in groupwise the thinapped word starts an opens the document. This is great, but if we change soemthing in the doc and then press file/save we get an error from Word 2007 (file permission error). With native Office and GroupWise the file will be saved in GroupWise as an updated version.
We tried to find the error with sysinternals procmon but this did not help us (see attached log).
11:24:20,8782071 WINWORD.EXE 1900 CloseFile C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator.ADS\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp\XPgrpwise\~WRD0000.tmp SUCCESS
For me it seems that Word can not copy back the *.tmp file from the local user profile to thinapped GroupWise.
This is a big problem vor us, because nobody can use our GroupWise file libraries for updating existing files.
Hope someone can help...
