How does one use a ThinApp'd program on Citrix XenServer?

I have read the whitepaper http://blogs.vmware.com/thinapp/2012/04/integrating-thinapp-with-xenapp.html, which all sounds good but I am looking for technical write-up or instructions on the steps to use a thinapp'd application on Citrix XenApp server.

To publish the thinapp would I be installing the thinapp's MSI on each presentation server or can I simply place a shortcut on Citrix servers desktop which point to network share and stream from there?

Any help is appreciated.
